Tonight's Special - Creamy Yogurt Prawns
Ingredients
to make Creamy Yogurt Prawns :
• Prawns - 1/2 kg(de-veined and cleaned)
• Ginger -garlic paste - 1 tbsp
• Onion - 1 no(finely chopped)
• Tomato - 1 no(finely chopped)
• Yogurt - 1/2 cup
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
• Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
• Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
• Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
• Olive oil - As reqd
• Salt - As reqd
Directions
to make Creamy Yogurt Prawns :
• 1) For preparing creamy yogurt prawns, first marinate the prawns in salt for 1/2 an hour.
• 2) Heat olive oil in a deep frying pan and fry the marinated prawns till they get light brown. Remove it and keep it aside.
• 3) In the same oil saute ginger-garlic paste and onion till it become light brown in colour.
• 4) Add coriander powder, cumin powder and chilly powder. Saute it for 1 minute on low flame.
• 5) Then add in the tomato and salt. Allow it to cook on low flame till the tomato becomes a bit mushy.
• 6) Now add in the fried prawns, garam masala and yogurt. Allow it to cook till the water evaporates.
• 7) Creamy yoghurt prawns is ready. Serve hot.
